Skin Tightening RF
Radio-frequency skin tightening is an aesthetic technique that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. The technique induces tissue remodeling and the production of new collagen and elastin.
Radiofrequency is FDA-cleared non-surgical tissue tightening is highly controlled for your safety. Clinical studies have demonstrated an excellent safety profile on RF procedures for skin tightening and skin rejuvenation.
How it works?
Like any form of energy, RF has the capacity to produce heat—and while each brand-name application uses a slightly different technology, all work by heating the skin’s deeper layers to induce new collagen and elastin production and encourage cell turnover, helping skin become firmer, thicker and more youthful-looking.
- Because the RF firming facial stimulates an approximately 20% boost in collagen production, it’s far more effective than topical treatments. Collagen is the main structural protein in your skin. It works to replace dead cells and maintain elasticity prompting your skin to renew itself from within.
For best results, we recommend clients schedule RF facial treatments once a month for six to eight months. After this initial period, you can reduce the frequency to about once every 3 months. To maximize the age-defying benefits of the procedure, try alternating the RF firming facial with one of our facials treatments such as oxygen facial or hydrafacial to keep your skin soft and smooth as well as firm.
